MoonPay has launched the "MoonAgents Card," a virtual Mastercard debit card that allows AI agents and users to make real-time payments using stablecoins from self-custodial wallets. Developed in collaboration with Monavate and Exodus Movement, the card converts stablecoins to fiat at the point of sale. Unlike traditional cards, it facilitates direct onchain spending without preloading funds. The service is currently available in the UK and Latin America, with plans for U.S. and EU expansion, aiming to enable the growing ecosystem of autonomous AI agents to interact with traditional merchant networks.
