This system utilizes a detection model built on Chainalysis Data Solutions, calibrated to identify patterns indicative of non-public information usage on the platform. Every transaction on Polymarket is recorded on a public blockchain, enabling live anomaly detection. This initiative comes amid growing concerns and scrutiny from the crypto community and lawmakers regarding suspected insider trading on prediction market platforms. Polymarket has also updated its Market Integrity Rules and is joining other platforms and regulatory efforts to clamp down on such activities as prediction markets gain mainstream traction.
