Ripple has established a new Middle East and Africa headquarters within the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) to accommodate rising demand for its regulated blockchain services. The region now accounts for approximately 20% of the company’s global customer base. Key milestones include receiving full licensure from the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) in early 2025 and gaining approval for its dollar-pegged stablecoin, RLUSD, which is now recognized for use in custody and settlement within the DIFC. Ripple plans to double its regional team size to better serve major clients such as Zand Bank and Garanti BBVA.
