Telegram AI-powered crypto trading agents can now execute transfers, swaps and staking

TON Tech has introduced AI-powered agents for Telegram that can autonomously execute on-chain cryptocurrency transactions. Users can fund a dedicated wallet for these agents, which can then perform actions such as transfers, swaps, automated trading within set budgets, staking, and basic portfolio management. This development follows Gemini's recent rollout of agentic trading, allowing AI models to directly manage crypto exchange accounts. The trend of 'agentic AI' is growing, empowering AI bots to interact with digital services and conduct transactions. TON Tech's head, Andrew Grekov, stated that these 'Agentic Wallets' transform AI agents from assistants to actors, enabling them to transact and interact with on-chain services without users needing to manage their private keys, thus opening up new AI-driven applications. Despite this innovation, activity on the TON blockchain has seen a significant decline since late 2024, with active addresses falling below 100,000.
