The exploit, which occurred over the weekend, involved Kelp DAO, a LayerZero-powered cross-chain bridge, and resulted in the loss of 116,500 rsETH tokens, valued at around $292 million. Preliminary findings from LayerZero suggest the attack may be linked to the North Korean hacking group Lazarus. LayerZero also criticized Kelp DAO's use of a 1-of-1 DVN configuration, citing it as a single point of failure, a claim Kelp DAO has disputed.
