Cosmos Health (COSM) Buys $600K in Bitcoin, Expands Digital Asset Treasury

Cosmos Health Inc. announced a recent purchase of $600,000 worth of Bitcoin, expanding its digital asset treasury to about $3.1 million, which includes Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. CEO Greg Siokas stated that the company views select digital assets as an attractive class with long-term upside, employing a disciplined treasury approach to diversify its balance sheet and maintain financial flexibility. Siokas noted that these holdings could offer optional liquidity if the market undervalues the company relative to its book value. Cosmos Health, which operates a vertically integrated healthcare business, began adding Bitcoin to its reserves in late 2024 as a hedge against inflation and currency devaluation, framing the move as part of its innovation strategy.
