The exploit, which netted the hacker $4,326,700, was flagged by EyeOnChain due to unusual activity, including the wallet receiving $1.7 million in USDC and subsequently opening a high-leverage short position in ETH that resulted in about $1.5 million in liquidations as the price moved against the bet. Blockchain investigator ZachXBT has already reached out to submit a bounty claim, indicating he has gathered crucial information.
