This contribution, funded by 10% of the gross profits from its Bitwise Bitcoin ETF (BITB), brings the total donated since 2024 to $383,000, following an initial $150,000 donation in February 2025. The funds will be allocated by three non-profits: Bitcoin Brink, OpenSats, and the Human Rights Foundation's Bitcoin Development Fund. Bitwise pledged this profit-sharing model when BITB launched in January 2024. Despite BITB trailing larger ETFs like BlackRock's IBIT and Fidelity's FBTC in total inflows, it has maintained steady growth, weathering recent market pullbacks.
