Deposits are reportedly held by Cross River Bank and insured up to $250,000 per person by the FDIC. X Money is central to Musk's vision of transforming X into an "everything app" for all monetary transactions. Shatner leveraged his beta access by auctioning off invites for charity, raising significant funds. While X has secured numerous money transmitter licenses across the US, the integration of cryptocurrency payments, despite Musk's association with Dogecoin, remains unconfirmed.
