ZachXBT Investigation Accuses Axiom Employee of Insider Trading Abuse

Crypto investigator ZachXBT released an investigation alleging that Broox Bauer, a senior business development employee at the decentralized trading terminal Axiom Exchange, abused internal tools to track sensitive user wallet data for insider trading. The investigation claims Bauer used Axiom's internal dashboard to view private wallet connections, transaction history, and activity, sharing this information with a private group to identify profitable trading targets, potentially front-running trades. Supporting evidence includes private call recordings where Bauer allegedly discussed how to discreetly look up users and profit using internal access, suggesting broader involvement from other Axiom staff. This incident highlights a significant structural risk where centralized internal analytics, even in non-custodial platforms like Axiom, can enable insider trading if access controls are inadequate. Axiom stated they were unaware of the situation and are investigating further.
